Hiring an ill-equipped coach who not only couldn’t get his team to play defense but also couldn’t get his starting guards to work and play well together and later admitted he might have to stagger Butler’s and Rose’s playing time because apparently each of them wants to take the ball and go home;
Selling the likes of Doug McDermott, Tony Snell and Nikola Mirotic as the future, which is true only if you’re talking opponents’ making performance bonuses in seasons to come;
Giving 34-year-old Mike Dunleavy a three-year contract;
Refusing to trade the aging defensive pylon named Pau Gasol at the deadline in a useless attempt to make the playoffs only to justify hiring the lame coach;
Landing in the lottery;
Firing some of the athletic staff.
