Jailson is a very agile, athletic player with decent defensive skills. He commits some mistakes - like losing dangerous balls a couple of times per match - but he is young and has room to develop. He is very hard working and a decent lad, was adapted to the team and could hold our midfield in difficult situatons. I believe we will miss him unless Matheus Henrique stands up very fast and adapt to that position. Other options, like Cícero (too slow and not that good defensively) and Michel (always injured and has barely played this year) are not promising enough.

Surprised by this from both sides because Jailson isn't particularly good and i wasn't expecting him to be sold for what's a good chunk of money for a brazilian club (with a % of a future sale on top of that too), and Grêmio now has no true DMs in their roster.

He is decent and gets the job done, but that's about it. Good thing about him is that he's usually invisible: he doesn't do anything really spectacular, but he's rarely involved in catastrophic failures (but he fails more than he shines). Ironically, last night he fucked up big time in the play in which we conceded.
