Ben Luderer, a 30-year-old New Jersey teacher and coach, passed away only days after contracting coronavirus.
According to BuzzFeed News, Luderer had no underlying conditions and died with little warning.
His wife, Brandy, was tested positive for COVID-19 on March 19 and Luderer showed symptoms three days later. On Friday, March 27, he was prescribed medication and briefly placed on oxygen at a local hospital. His wife said he was told to return home in case being admitted to the hospital worsened his condition. The two self-isolated at home. Luderer began to sweat Sunday night and his wife found him dead 6 a.m. Monday.
