Cevap: Uefa'ya Mail Yağdıralım!
To whom it may concern,
As of today 12/09/11, an important outcome has arised regarding the match fixing allegations in STSL (Turkish 1st Division Soccer Organization). Not to bore you more since you all are aware of the history of the events, I shall get to today's report.
The indictment by the public prosecutor has been accepted by the court and details of the allegations are publicly available.
Although soccer fans and the majority of the public are easily convinced that some clubs were heavily involved in match fixing (illustrated and proven by photos, phone taps etc), the soccer federation is interestingly avoiding to get to the conclusion of relegating/punishing those clubs. We fear that the fanatic views of some of the authority bearing personnel including the president Mehmet Ali Aydinlar is a part of this passive behaviour.
The damage in the minds of Turkish supporters pertaining the results and standings that were achieved last year and even before may very well be unrepairable if the corruption and delay in punishment surround Turkish football.
We trust and hope that the encapuslating power of Uefa will step in once again and make sure the game is played and decided on the pitch regardless of federations favoritisms, corruption mechanisms and financial interests.
Relegation and punishment might not be the solution, we are all aware of that but we allso know that we need to start cleaning before redecorating our house.
We appreciate your help in giving us a head start.
Respectfully yours.
