OK then
I'll write you informations from a club magazine "Stadion" from 1924 (i dont have an original magazine, only a quote from a book from 1984). It will be hard, because it is write with an old - sport language, but i'll try:
"Tourne was connected with Polish Expo in Constantinople. Team stayed in "Imperial" Hotel, ate in russian restaurant "Turquoise", and... most of players had troubles with their stomach. Weather was hot: even about 40*C.
They played in Taxim Stadium in Pera District. Players were unhappy, because there wasnt any grass on a field - only "hard ground covered with gravel (?)". They were afraid, that they could brake something if they fall on ground. Turkish players knew it, and it was a reason why Turkish players "mostly took ball from air" (as i understand: they played a lot high balls and dont pass on ground).
There were a lot of football fans, even 6000 on a game against Fenerbahce :>.
Turkish fans are screaming all the time, and to improve their volume, they use tubes made of paper. They also use rattles.
They were friendly. In last game (win against Altinordi, 12:0), they even clap when Polonia scored, or have a chance. After the games they clap when they saw a car with a players. What is interesting - they like to learn names of players, and then shout it on a match.
Beside this they're pretty fair and dont throw rocks if they dont like something - which should be praised
Referees are bad. Only one is good - Hadyopuolos, the greek, but he is not allowed because his nationality.
12.09 - Polonia - Galata Serai (sic!) 2:2 (0:2)
Polonia: Gross, Czajkowski, Hamburger (50> Walczak), Gebethner, Loth, Szmid, Bulanow, Tupalski, Grabowski, Emchowicz, Krygier. Szmid was the best on a field. Walczak didnt played good (he substituted Hamburger which rip tendon). Emchowicz scored twice.
